Few acts manage to cause such a stir within just a bit more than 2 years since their first release as Raw Artistic Soul. With the emotional “Keep on shining” Phil Kullmann demonstrates why. John was raised in the East End of London. Growing up within the church he quickley realised that he had a great love for music and this was where his journey began. Being encouraged by his ever faithful parents that he could sing (just a little) he pursued and joined a Gospel Choir, which is what really grounded him vocaly. Great opportunities were to follow. His first two professional vocal assignments were as backing vocalist for Luther Vandross and Diana Ross. Since then he`s worked with many other great artists: Boy George, Tori Amos and Mariah Carey to name a few. After travelling the world twice over and working as a frontman for Chicane and Luke Slater, he`s one of the most inspirational and unique UK singers. Phil´s Dub Mixes strip things down and are deep-house-monsters of highest calibre. The sexy smacking beats and massive sub-baseline are made to blow up any soundsystem and will equally appeal to purists, the crowd on the dancefloor and all DJs with open ears.
