Fascinated by Seek's original, we decided to put out ‘Everafter’ reinterpretated. This fluffy song almost screamed for the right remixes to enter the dance-floors. Thus leaving a timeless vibe, our artists added their irresistible musical charm and continued GOGO’s way to unique sound and feeling in triumphant manner.
Now ‘Everafter’ is in full effect. The 'Ralf GUM & CrisP Vocal Mix' will stick in your ears with it’s sweet, sweet guitar melodies and the 'Roberto De Carlo Classic Vocal' is shining bright in soul. For those who like it a bit fiercer, check the two Dub mixes on the 12”. Pick of the Week!
Originally out in late 2000 on Giant Step Records, this song demanded to be reinterpreted to bring its timeless vibe to the soulful danceflooors. Ralf GUM & CrisP come up with a soft and mellow reworking with sweet guitar melodies. The second vocal mix on the 12" is courtesy of Roberto De Carlo and is a perfect example of soulful dance music with jazzy instrumenation and classic strings, spreading a soulful vibe. His dub version focuses on the funky bass and strings to create a peaktime vibe. The second dub by Benny Pecoraio & Ralf GUM is on a grooy tip with a real funk flava to it.

Got to hold my hands up and say I'm not overly familiar with the original versions of this track, but nevertheless the remixes are still worth the investment. A whole host of cool summertime mixes come from Ralf GUM, CrisP and Roberto De Carlo and if previous GOGO releases have tickled your fancy, then this is a must.

A very classy offering from Germany, this: a mellow trad garage groove with a sumptuous female vocal and - gasp! - a proper song. Ralf GUM & CrisP’s Mix is the one for floors that can take it nice and soulful while the Benny Pecoraio & Ralf GUM Dubbed beefs things up a little for more straight-up deep house floors and Roberto De Carlo, on his vocal and dub passes, adds slight disco flourishes. Quality bizniss all round so check it.

Per il nuovo disco, Ralf GUM si affida al remake di un brano "Everafter" di Seek, già uscito su Giant Step e contenuto anche sull'ultimo album della band di Atlanta, Georgia "Journey into day", ed ora riproposto in quattro nuove versioni sull'etichetta GOGO Music. L'operazione è stata quella di fondere il classico sound della band con elementi e sonorità dell'attuale house music, mantenendo il "vibe" e le radici soulful del brano ma rendendolo più "dancefloor friendly". Un lavoro riuscito splendidamente ai ragazzi della GOGO, infatti se la versione di Ralf GUM e CrisP è un'affascinate esempio di delicata ed elegante soulful house caratterizzata da ispirati interventi di chitarra, la sucessiva "Benny Pecoraio & Ralf GUM dub" è un viaggio sonoro intriso di elemrenti funk e groovy. Sulla B side, sono contenuti i mix affidati al dj/producer svizzero Roberto De Carlo che sfodera dapprima una strepitosa versione in perfetto stile vocal soulful house, seguita da una dub di grande effetto, trascinata da un'indovinatissimo funky bassline. Ancora una volta un prodotto di altissima classe per la GOGO Music, ad ulteriore dimostrazione che la label guidata da Ralf GUM, quando si tratta di proporre soulful house di qualità non è seconda a nessuno.

Benny Pecoraio kommt verspielter - mit funky Discoanleihen unterlegt er seinen Dub Mix mit deepen Tönen. Wer glaubt es könnte kaum besser gehen, sollte auf die Flipside wechseln. Tonnenschwere Bassläufe füllen die Tanzfläche in Windeseile. Klasse Scheibe, klasse Mixe.
