Concha Buika - ‘Nobody can touch me’ - GOGO 005 Guentersleben...in questo paese tedesco dal nome per me impronunciabile c'è la Go Go Music e l'A&R di questa etichetta è proprio quel Ralf Gum (non vi sembra un nome da fumetto?) per cui impegneremo qualche riga di questa pagina. Questo "Nobody Can Touch Me" è una vocal track e di questi tempi le vocal hanno veramente vita difficile a meno che non abbiano solo una cassa, basso e qualche sweep che gira intorno alla voce. In questo caso non siamo nell'esempio che vi ho appena descritto perché Ralf GUM ha confezionato una canzone molto carina, molto classic (come stile, non come l'etichetta di Derrick Carter) non particolarmente innovativa, molto vicina al suono dei Milk & Sugar (tedeschi pure loro) ma sicuramente con una bella linea melodica e con un ritornello che rimane. Non so fino a quando ci ricorderemo di questa canzone ma finché dura vale la pena segnalarla, anche per la voce di Concha Buika (questo nome sì che te lo ricordi) la cantante di questo progetto, che a colpo d'occhio e da lontano, dopo due vodka alla pesca e lemonsoda sembra Chaka Khan dei tempi migliori (nell'aspetto, non nella voce che comunque è molto buona). Se avete un po’ di spazio nella vostra borsa, metteteci questo disco. Vi può servire per far respirare e sorridere un po’ la pista e per far ballare qualche donna in più.
