GOGO Music welcomes Rocco & C. Robert Walker with their highly anticipated single “Hard time for lovers” to its artist roaster. Since Rocco, Ralf GUM and few others started to play the tune on their gigs, we received countless requests for this song. Now the full package spiced with hot remixes by Black Coffee, Kiko Navarro and Ralf GUM is here and will surely cause some stir this spring and long beyond.

Rocco is without a doubt one of France’s finest House-Music-Artists, who started in 1994 his first DJ residency at Space (Lyon-France) and developed his soulful style at Manoo’s Ambassade club (Lyon, France), playing alongside artists like Louie Vega, Lenny Fontana & Kenny Carpenter. He has countless club-hits on labels like Realtone, Freerange, Buzzin’ Fly on his account and landed one of 2009’s club anthems with his remix of the Jerk House Connection’s “Each & Everyday” on Anto. Friends of GOGO Music know him as well because of his fierce remixes of Ralf GUM and Diamondancer’s “All this love for you”. With “Hard time for lovers” Rocco now delivers one of his finest vocal productions to date, which sees him teaming up with C. Robert Walker on vocal duties.

C. Robert Walker is a very versatile songwriter and singer, who had the opportunity to work with some very talented people in this music business. Be it RnB, Jazz, Rock, Hip Hop, Soul, Gospel or Vocal House, he is always capable to deliver a well written, good song. Even his career has been on a roller coaster for a while, with lots of ups and downs, he is lately enjoying the up-side with worldwide performances and releases on labels like Boddhi Satva’s Offering.

Ralf GUM is looking back on some highly successful years and is currently in highest demand. As a producer and remixer he’s delivering constantly works that receive global plaudit and storm the DJ- and download-charts, while he can be found almost on a weekly basis in some corner of our planet for one of his DJ gigs. With “Complicated” he already has one of the most successful soulful house tunes of 2010 in his pocket. For “Hard times for lovers” Ralf delivers a wicked soulful remix which is perfect for all occasions.

Black Coffee makes his appreciated return to the label with a mix in his typical inventive and imaginative style that is an educated re-interpretation of classic South African music. He is one of the top South African music artists since years and making big waves as well worldwide since his 2009 smash hit “Turn me on” released on GOGO Music. Currently Black Coffee is nominated for 4 SAMA (South African Music Awards) with his double gold selling album “Home Brewed”.

Long time label friend Kiko Navarro became famous for his music that fuses influences of deep house, garage, underground, latin, afro and disco. Within those cornerstones he is always trying to find the cool side of each style without forgetting the most important thing - people should never stop dancing to his music. For this project Kiko delivers a fat old school inspired remix, with swinging grooves, which he named after his Dubai residency “MustHaveSoul” at 360.

An odd couple, one can safely say this is. American Robert C. Walker and French dude Rocco in unison. But the track the of them two comes up with here is certainly worth a notice, the title is 'Hard Time For Lovers'. Rocco is one of France's finest house musicians and had a lot of club hits released on labels as Realtone, Freerange and Buzzin 'Fly. C. Robert Walker is amongst others well-known for his collaboration with Boddhi Satva and not least Danish / German Cool Million with the track "Pullin 'Me Back' from 2008. On 'Hard Time For Lovers' C. Robert Walker suplies sublime vocal contribution and it must be obvious to all that he can sing. The song is out on GOGO Music, owned by German Ralf GUM, which is a coveted remixer / producer in the house scene.
