Ralf GUM’s elevated sound has become instantly recognizable over the last two decades and has placed him among the crème de la crème of Deep and Soulful House producers worldwide. Ralf’s first collaboration with Monique, “Kissing Strangers”, became the biggest soulful house anthem of 2008 and nothing less than a timeless club-hit. But instead of repeating the winning formula of songs they did before, Ralf and Monique moved on to bring something totally fresh to the table. On “Take Me To My Love” Monique Bingham shows us once again why she is considered one of the best lyricists in the house music scene. Ralf GUM’s sexy production with warm, expressive keys, embrace the rhythm driven vocal perfectly. Like a good wine, these two get better with time.

Since his first release on GOGO Music in 2004, Raw Artistic Soul has become more than just a part of the house music scene. He is now widely considered one of its leading producers, beloved for his consistently innovative and advanced offerings. Since his second album “You Got Rhythm too”, which is abounded in Soul, he's only delivered a few remixes of a very carefully chosen projects. But with quality trumping quantity, his star has and will always burn brightly. In his mix of "Take Me to My Love" he has delivered a unique pearl of House Music with dubbed-out off beat keys as only he can deliver them.

Louis Benedetti makes his appreciated return to our stable after co-writing and remixing the 2010 smash hit “Lose My Worries”. Renowned for his superb organic style and skilful arrangements, Louis adds an outstanding classic version which at the same time is very spacey and an edgy dub in the superb manner we have come to expect from him. Benedetti's talents, honed on Larry Levan sets at NYC's Paradise Garage, Tony Humphries at Zanzibar and Kiss Master Mix Radio shows, have steadily improved over the length of his stellar career in house.

The release is rounded out by Monique Bingham’s first ever remix project. She takes the tune to a lovely Jazz-infused place, leaving space for the emotive vocal performance to seize center stage. This version is perfect for lounge sets or just listening.

This GOGO Music outing is already hotly anticipated in many parts of the world and was play-listed by most South African radio-stations immediately after being discovered on Ralf GUM’s new album “Never Leaves You", out now in the Motherland. NYC legend Danny Krivit licensed it for his upcoming compilation after hearing it only once, long before it was ever release. “Take Me To My Love” has instant classic written all over it - we’re sure this one will live on and on and on and on and on...

If soulful house is your thing, you need look no further than Ralf GUM and his beautifully intricate productions via his imprint GOGO Music. This month, the third single to be taken from his forthcoming LP is released and it comes as a very welcome collaboration with the inimitable voice that is soulful house queen bee Monique Bingham. They are no strangers to working together, check out the track 'Kissing Strangers', released back in 2008 and cited as one of the biggest soulful house releases of the year - this track, four years later, could follow suit. Latest track 'Take Me To My Love' combines a beautiful melody with perfectly placed percussion, alleviated by the somewhat tribal tone to Bingham's vocal. She can only heighten the beats in place; her emphasis rises and dips in line with the instrumentation. It's refreshing to hear her vocals back on something new without leaving her rightful territory of soul. The release is backed up by a myriad of remixes from GUMm himself, Raw Artistic Soul's minimal approach and Bingham's own piano remix. It's really rare to come across a track like this; full of loungey vibes, soulful peaks and African rhythm, this is a must buy for anybody who seeks pleasure via the soul. by Sukhi B

"Take me to my love" is all about Monique Bingham's inimitable voice and Ralf GUM's intricate soulful production style. The grand keys, the sexy rhythms, the superb vocals, we instantly fell in love with this song when we heard it for the first time. Then there are marvelous remixes by Raw Artistic Soul who contributes something truly unique with his deep dubbed-out interpretation, Louis Benedetti who serves a phenomenal classic version as well as an edgy soul-tech dub, and finally Monique Bingham who blesses us with her sleek jazz-infused rendition - it is next to impossible to choose a favorite version as they are all simply brilliant. Monique Bingham's vocals are amazing, hot, and sweet, like a voice that tell us a tales. In the Ralf GUM Stripped Mix the rounding the bassline and percussive touch are accentuated giving a little bit of energy. Raw Artistic Soul never miss, with a psycadelic groove and aritmic synths melodies that work perfectly in big dancefloor, with slamming break and restart with vocals loop that mak you round with the rest of the song. In the Raw Artistic Minimal Dub you'll find the same energy, but the vocals are cutted and reverbed, it bring you out... insane but great! Louis Benedetti bring his incredible musical knowledge with a classic 4/4 groove, elettro bassline, arches crescendo, synths melodies. Watch out in the second half of the song, an incredible piano melody is waiting to be listened. A killer Hammond to the final tell to the world how much is Master Louis Benedetti. His Tech-Mash Dub go straight for the dancefloor with elettro effect and strong groove. The Bigga Bingham experience is pure music... is the way to tell that "There Is Music In This House". The duo previously combined on soulful classics ‘Kissing Strangers’ as well as ‘Little W. 12th St.’ to critical acclaim. They don’t disappoint either this time around. Their musically rich sound, showcases their undoubted prowess with ‘Take Me To My Love’, destined for future classic status. Ralf GUM’s Main mix is the standout track, staying faithful and true to his renowned, quality sound. The simple yet beautifully synchronised percussions of the track gel perfectly with the sultry vocals Bingham lends to the track. The track oozes rhythm in abundance. Its feel good vibe and sing-along vocals will go down well with fans of the genre and others. Expect this one to light up any set and keep the dance floors filled. His Stripped mix peels away some of the gloss off the track without compromising the aforementioned rhythmic qualities, focussing on Bingham’s soul-laden vocal talents which have an extremely soothing appeal. Louis Benedetti on the other hand gives a quite refreshing interpretation with his vocal mix. It’s a breath of fresh air which should appeal to a diverse group of House junkies with its seductively old school sound. His tech mash up will have the masses of dance fans filling up the dance floors in clubs across the country.
