Benny Pecoraio
At the age of four Benny got musical early education. At that time he
wanted to become a percussionist but his teacher became aware of his fingers
that were “predetermined to play the piano”, as she said. A statement that
Benny is very grateful for today.
He soon began to realize (and appreciate of course) that there was even more
than just the music of NKOTB or Take That being worth to explore. So he
gradually found out his own definition of good music and finally the possibility
of being part of and even influencing this sound.
Remember Mozart? This quite famous Austrian had a very special way of composing
music: he traveled to different countries in order to listen to foreign
musicians’ works. When returning home, Mozart’s following compositions didn’t
sound like the ones he had done before. He sort of took the impressions he got
from others and translated them into his very own musical language. Maybe this
is the best way of describing Benny Pecoraio’s style of producing: being
influenced but not to copy. And luckily today there’s the internet, so getting
international impressions needn’t be that time-consuming any more...
