ABOUT

Ralf GUM and CrisP have spent the last ten years to produce some of the finest house music around and of course 10 years in style have to be celebrated with a compilation showcasing some of their best works! With far more than 50 remixes in about 180 different versions, all in a top notch standart, it was no easy process to pick out just ten. Finally we managed to compile a hot profile of their work, including some of their own favourite works, some of their unbeaten classics and even some remixes not available as download so far.

Ralf GUM’s emits a love of his work that is dangerously infectious and he can be called a steady leading figure in the house-scene since many years. He’s DJ-ing since 1991 and producing music since 1993 with an unswerving love for deep, soulful and elaborate house. In 1996 he met CrisP a passionate musician since he was in short trousers. As a gifted multi-instrumentalist he is the perfect complement to Ralf’s skills as beat programmer and studio wizzard. Quickly the decision to work together was made and in a short time they managed to develop a unique style, that inspired lots of other producers in the scene over the years. The "10 years anniversary compilation" kicks off with their infamous remix of Hacienda's "Sabor" followed by the great interpretation of Kiko Navarro's "Ritmo para voce", which has not been available digital so far.

King Club's "You were singing" can be called a classic just as Billie Ray Martin featuring Ann Peebles "18 Carat Garbage". The Dub Mix Aromabar's "All I want" caused in 2002 quite some stier in many DJ-Sets. Just as 5 years later the rework of Inaya Day meets Nativeson's "The way it was", which wasn't only called by Tony Humphries a wicked tune and which's the newest track included in the compilation. Arresting grooves come in the shape of Raw Artistic Soul's "Pa El Bembé" remix, which was one of GOGO Music best licensed tracks so far. Next up’s the beautiful "Reasons" by Over Street. We managed to include for you the almost lost remix of Rookie's "Not ready for the world", done in 1999 and never released. Last but not least we rounded the compilation of with Ralf GUM's club mix of Giorgio Moroder’s uberhit "Flashdance (What a feeling)", which was one of Ralf and CrisP's first joined works in 1997 and which hasn't been available as digital download so far as well...enjoy the music!
